I received my Ph. D degree from East China Normal University in 2006. After my graduate school, which included an NIH / NIAID predoctoral fellowship, I moved to Dr. Gallo's lab in University of California-San Diego and began to investigate the relationships between microbes and their hosts. In 2010 I moved back to China and started my own laboratory in East China Normal University . Now the research interests in my lab are focused on understanding immune regulation of inflammatory skin diseases. Fundamental basic science approaches using modern techniques of immunology, biochemistry and genetics are applied to dissect how keratinocytes are involved in the initiation, maintenance and relapse of psoriasis and atopic dermatitis (AD). In past ten years, I have published around 30 papers in high-profile journals such as Nature Medicine and Immunity.
