Dr. Qinghua Zhang, Professor, PhD student tutor, in Shanghai Ocean University, received her Ph.D. degree from the Second Military Medical University in China in 2011. From 2015/08-2016/03, as a visiting scholar, in Department of Fisheries and Wildlife, Michigan State University (MSU); 2012/10-2013/10, as a visiting scholar in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Genetics, and the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology, University of California, Los Angeles, (UCLA ), she used zebrafish and lamprey as model animals to explore the immune, origin, evolution, and function of vertebrate gene families. Since August 1999, she has successively been a teaching assistant, lecturer, associate professor, and professor at Shanghai Ocean University.
