1. Opening Remarks
Dr. Osamu Takeuchi, President of FIMSA, formally opened the meeting with a welcome address. He reflected on the previous gathering in Vienna during the IUIS 2025 Congress, where the central theme for the current meeting—the establishment of the FIMSA Junior Committee—was first introduced.

2. Establishment of the FIMSA Junior Committee
Dr. Takeuchi outlined the background and motivation for initiating the Junior Committee. Drawing inspiration from the IUIS Junior Committee and yEFIS, the FIMSA Council had previously discussed the importance of strengthening engagement with early-career scientists and fostering collaboration with the younger generation.

Following deliberations, it was agreed that the FIMSA Junior Committee will consist of junior representatives from each FIMSA member society. The committee will be responsible for organizing activities and collaborating closely with the IUIS Junior Community. Its president will serve on the FIMSA Council, either as a councillor or an observer. Member societies will soon nominate candidates, from whom the president and vice-president will be elected.

3. Updates on the 2026 FIMSA Advanced Course in Australia
Dr. Ajith Vasanthakumar provided updates on the upcoming 2026 FIMSA Advanced Training Course in Translational Immunology, which will be held in conjunction with the ASI International Clinical Translation School (CTS). Invitations to speakers have been finalized, and the call for abstracts will be announced shortly. Member societies are encouraged to actively promote the course to their members.
