I am an assistant professor of immunology in the Immunology Department of Isfahan Medical School of Sciences, Isfahan, Iran. After graduating with a degree from Science of Laboratory, University of Shahid Beheshti Tehran, I felt I should gain some practical experience working in a research environment to gain first-hand knowledge of what the life of a research scientist entails. At graduate level, my interests became more focused on immunology. Immunotherapy and inflammatory responses, really captured my attention. For this reason I chose to undertake a project in my final year of MS.c on allergy at Buali Research Institute Mashhad. During my Ph.D. program, I learned more about inflammation and the role of immunomodulatory agents, and I also had a great time in Dr.Grunig’s laboratory in the environmental department of New York University Medical School as a research assistant. Since 2015 I am working in the Immunology department of Isfahan Medical School. I supervised MS.c and Ph.D. students, and most of my researches are focused on inflammatory immune responses in autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis. I published more than 40 papers in high impact ISI journals including; Inflammation, Frontiers in Immunology, journal of Neuroimmunology, and International Immunopharmacology.
